Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Optimize payment cycles to maximize cash flow and discounts
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams on vendor contracts
- Implement and maintain internal controls for AP operations
- Generate monthly AP reports for financial analysis
- Train and mentor junior AP staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in high-volume transaction processing
- Excellent communication and vendor management abilities
- Knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
