Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable processing, including high-volume invoice coding, verification, and payment execution.
- Manage vendor onboarding, maintenance of the master vendor file, and resolution of complex billing discrepancies.
- Perform month-end close activities, including aging reports, accruals, and variance analysis.
- Reconcile vendor statements and ensure all payments are accurate and timely.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to streamline purchasing processes and improve payment terms.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and GAAP accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a high-volume corporate environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
