Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable cycle including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce payment errors
- Conduct 3-way matching and resolve payment discrepancies with vendors
- Prepare month-end closing reports and assist with audits
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and payment terms
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury teams on payment strategies
- Lead AP team projects including system upgrades and process documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in mid-to-large organizations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or AP designation preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing payment processing for high-volume transactions
- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
