Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing including invoice verification, coding, and payment execution
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate financial records in our ERP system (SAP experience preferred)
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize payment cycles
- Analyze vendor payment data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
- Lead month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Remote work experience with demonstrated self-discipline
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- AP certification (CAPP) a plus
