Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.5% accuracy
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies proactively
- Implement and optimize AP workflows using SAP and Oracle ERP systems
- Conduct month-end closing activities and reconcile AP sub-ledgers
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Mentor junior AP team members on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in full-cycle accounts payable management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems
- SAP and Oracle certification strongly preferred
- Experience with high-volume B2B payment processing
- Deep knowledge of sales tax regulations across multiple states
- Proven ability to improve process efficiency (KPI-driven)
- CPA designation or equivalent certification a plus
