Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable cycle including invoice verification, coding, and processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Optimize payment workflows to achieve 98% on-time payment rate
- Collaborate with procurement team on vendor contract terms and early payment discounts
- Lead month-end closing activities and AP reconciliations
- Implement process improvements using SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Train junior AP staff on compliance and system protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in SAP or Oracle ERP systems
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in deadline-driven environments
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0.5% error rate in processing
- Strong analytical skills for variance analysis and trend reporting
