Responsibilities
- Invoice Management: Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy, ensuring timely payment while maintaining strict adherence to payment terms.
- Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, resolving inquiries and managing disputes efficiently to maintain positive business relationships.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations to identify and correct discrepancies promptly.
- System Optimization: Utilize ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle) to maintain accurate vendor master data and expense reporting.
- Audit Support: Prepare documentation and records for internal and external audits, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current AP processes and propose automation or workflow improvements to increase efficiency.
- Reporting: Assist in month-end close processes and generate AP aging reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP.
- Excel Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) for data analysis.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity in high-volume settings.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Integrity: High level of ethical standards and discretion when handling sensitive financial data.
