Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll cycles semi-monthly using ADP Enterprise system
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings for all 50 states
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile general ledger entries monthly
- Respond to employee inquiries with clear, timely resolution
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, IRS, and state labor regulations
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Prepare year-end reports (W-2s, 1099s) and support external audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years of payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
- Expert knowledge of multi-state tax laws and compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities
