Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices and expense reports with precision
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers and GL accounts
- Optimize payment cycles to maximize early payment discounts
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams on process improvements
- Prepare month-end closing reports and AP aging analyses
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in corporate environments
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- AP certification (CAPP or similar) highly desirable
