Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations including invoice processing, verification, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payment issues and maintain vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations
- Prepare monthly AP reports and analyze key performance metrics
- Train junior staff on AP procedures and system utilization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with high-volume payment processing (>500 invoices/month)
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
