Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile high-volume accounts payable/receivable transactions
- Prepare month-end financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage multi-entity accounting records in QuickBooks Online
- Coordinate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement process improvements to reduce accounting errors
- Train junior staff on accounting software and procedures
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
