Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile complex accounts payable/receivable cycles with high-volume transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses for executive review
- Lead month-end closing processes ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Implement and optimize internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with auditors during annual compliance reviews
- Maintain digital and physical financial records with SOX compliance standards
- Train junior accounting staff on advanced accounting software and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in mid-sized organizations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA knowledge
- Demonstrated success in month-end closing with zero material discrepancies
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to lead cross-departmental financial initiatives
