Responsibilities
- Manage complex accounts payable/receivable cycles with multi-currency transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Lead month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Coordinate internal and external audits while maintaining compliance with GAAP
- Implement process improvements using advanced Excel functions and ERP systems
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel modeling
- Proven track record in managing high-volume financial operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (<0.5% error tolerance)
- California CPA license or actively pursuing certification
