Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Manage general ledger activities including journal entries and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and multi-state regulatory requirements
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Implement process improvements using financial software solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with financial audits and compliance reporting
