Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to drive strategic business decisions and cost optimization
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental portfolios
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial audits and controls
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/Sage)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and support training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail accuracy
- Experience managing audit processes and regulatory filings
