Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain internal controls ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Prepare tax documentation and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records using Oracle Financials and Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public and private sectors
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data modeling
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
