Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
- Manage compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Develop financial models for strategic decision-making
- Coordinate external audits and tax filings
- Mentor junior accounting staff
- Implement process improvements using automation tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state compliance
- Proven analytical problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
