Responsibilities
- Manage complex financial reporting cycles ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes with reconciliations across 15+ accounts
- Analyze variance reports and implement process improvements
- Coordinate external audits and prepare supporting documentation
- Maintain internal controls for SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency with VLOOKUP/PivotTables
- SAP/QuickBooks enterprise software expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Proven track record in process optimization
