Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for 15+ client portfolios
- Implement process improvements using advanced Excel and QuickBooks tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and audit preparation support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Texas CPA license or actively pursuing certification
- Proven experience in process optimization and team leadership
