Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and tax provisions.
- Conduct internal audits and internal control reviews to mitigate financial risk.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
- Implement and improve accounting software systems and processes for increased efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
