Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and oversee the month-end close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare, analyze, and report financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and tax documentation for external auditors and tax authorities.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a significant plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail under tight deadlines.
