Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax preparation
- Implement and improve internal controls for financial systems
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., SAP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and audits
