Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with journal entries
- Develop financial models and forecasting for departmental budgets
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and tax preparations
- Maintain digital asset management and internal control systems
- Train junior accounting staff on financial software and protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven track record of SOX compliance and internal audits
- Advanced analytical skills with financial modeling capabilities
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder reporting
- Nebraska CPA license or ability to obtain within 6 months
