Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct financial audits, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Implement and improve accounting systems, controls, and compliance procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance teams
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and complex financial projects
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
