Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions within strict deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legal and financial requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
- CPA certification or currently pursuing certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly.
