Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and federal/state tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial processes for efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and forecast future financial trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification is a significant plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
