As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure timely and accurate weekly payroll processing.
- Oversee and mentor junior accounting staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
