Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and expense audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Respond to financial inquiries from management and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
