Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile bank statements to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
