Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls across all financial processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Prepare and present financial statements, variance analyses, and audit documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks
- Proven track record of managing month-end closes and financial reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex financial information to stakeholders
