Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to the management team to drive profitability.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and internal control policies.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely compensation for all employees.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement best practices.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions), QuickBooks, and SAP.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
