Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Process weekly payroll accurately and timely, ensuring all compliance regulations are met.
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparations under the guidance of senior management.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for various departments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure internal controls are effective.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
