Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and audit financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage monthly/quarterly reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and intercompany transactions
- Lead tax preparation processes for corporate and individual clients
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow
- Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records using QuickBooks and SAP
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies during compliance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven expertise in tax preparation and financial analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
- Nebraska CPA license required
