Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely monthly and quarterly closings.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and budgets to support executive decision-making.
- Manage the payroll process to guarantee employees receive their weekly pay accurately and on time.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable cycles.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and GAAP standards.
- Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel (Advanced), and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
