Responsibilities
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards
- Lead internal audit initiatives and ensure SOX compliance across departments
- Develop and maintain financial forecasting models for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and variance analysis
- Streamline accounting workflows to enhance operational efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated experience with month-end closes and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
