The Role
You will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all local and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations in Florida.
- Prepare and file various tax returns and ensure timely submission.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
