Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and support external auditors during audits.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure optimal cash flow management.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
