The Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure internal controls are effective.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
