Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger reconciliation
- Lead month-end closing processes and variance analysis reporting
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly/annual compliance reviews
- Develop financial models for budget forecasting and strategic planning
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accounting staff on regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Expertise in tax compliance and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
