Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP.
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate weekly disbursements.
- Handle VAT returns and tax planning with HMRC compliance.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and financial reviews.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks).
- Demonstrated ability to manage a full accounting cycle.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Valid right to work in the United Kingdom.
