Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, month-end closings, and financial reporting
- Lead cross-functional audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Develop and implement process improvements using ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and forecasting
- Mentor junior accountants and coordinate team training initiatives
- Collaborate with California branch on multi-state tax filings and budgeting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in financial reporting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and reducing costs
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
- Excellent communication skills for cross-state collaboration
