Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare accurate financial statements and compliance reports for stakeholders
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend strategic improvements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Experience with multi-state taxation and international operations
