Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and federal/state tax regulations
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience with financial reporting and analysis
