In this position, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and supporting our leadership team with critical financial analysis.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting activities and ensure accurate reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing and accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis and journal entries.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.
- Ensure all financial reporting is completed accurately and submitted on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory for consideration.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
