Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports (3-way matching).
- Enter and update data in the accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date AP files and records.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is highly preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- No prior accounting experience required; we train the right candidates.
