Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee general ledger maintenance with a focus on accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Lead internal audits and collaborate with external auditors ensuring seamless compliance
- Develop and implement robust financial controls to mitigate risks
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
