Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the preparation of tax documents and support the external audit process.
- Perform variance analysis and provide detailed reporting to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documents and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or a related financial field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve them efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
