Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and fixed assets.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure all tax filings and compliance requirements are met accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing.
- Maintain and update internal financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume setting.
