Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for clients across diverse industries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation processes
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in audit preparations
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Provide financial consulting and strategic insights to business clients
- Train junior accounting staff on best practices and software systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage complex financial portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Experience in multi-state tax filing preferred
