Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and vendor payments.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify financial trends.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax filings in collaboration with external auditors.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) to streamline financial workflows.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for budget planning and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and reconciliations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
